Sustainability reporting support:

Structured and professional

Sustainability requirements are constantly increasing, even for small businesses. It is becoming increasingly important to be able to demonstrate what you are doing and what improvements can be made. Sustainability is being taken into account in more contexts, such as bank loans, where long-term thinking and sustainable business practices are highly valued.

A sustainability report describes what has been done in the area of sustainability and what impact the business has from a sustainability perspective. Here, goals are defined and goal fulfillment is measured. This is often done in terms other than money. Other goals can more easily be converted into monetary terms. For example, one goal could entail reducing climate impact by reducing diesel consumption through eco-driving. The sustainability report also provides an opportunity to describe your vision, where you are today, and where you are headed.

A sustainability report can be divided into two parts – an internal and an external part. The internal part serves as a steering document that addresses activities that affect both financial reporting and sustainability. The external part can be directed more towards stakeholders outside the company, such as existing and potential customers, partners and suppliers.

For larger companies, formal requirements apply regarding what a sustainability report must contain while, for smaller companies, there is more freedom. New EU-wide regulations (CSRD) mean that more companies must prepare sustainability reports as part of their annual reports. Small and medium-sized companies are exempt if they are not listed on the stock exchange or active in banking and insurance.

There will also be many more and more detailed requirements regarding what a sustainability report should contain (ESRS). The requirements include companies being required to report on their impact on sustainability and the climate in their supply chains. This means that many more companies will be affected by the new rules, either in whole or in part. We can help you find the right level for your sustainability report.

Authorised and approved auditors - expertise you can rely on

There are different degrees of skill. You can do a lot yourself and someone with some financial expertise can help you with many tasks. There are also areas requiring authorised or approved expertise. Auditing is one such area.

An authorized and approved auditor meets the requirements of the Auditors Act in terms of education, experience and integrity. Performing work "in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards" means that it complies with a legal standard that sets requirements for the planning, staffing and execution of the assignments we receive from you.

It's all about security and safety for you and your business. When you hire us at LR Revision & Redovisning, you can be sure that you will receive quality-assured assistance from authorized and/or approved auditors.
